# One Laravel application in one repository

Build the responsive MVP as a Laravel 13 application with a React and TypeScript frontend through Inertia and a PostgreSQL database. Backend code, frontend code, and database migrations stay in one repository so each school deployment can be released together, trading independent frontend and backend releases for a simpler development and deployment process.

The official Laravel AI SDK is the planned integration for future AI features within this application. AI-powered product features are outside the MVP; future integrations must follow the existing permission and audit requirements. Developer tooling such as Laravel Boost is optional, and native mobile apps remain deferred.
